Earlier today, the news broke that the stupendously stupid firstborn son of President Trump, Donald Trump Jr. had been in contact with Julian Assange of Wikileaks over Twitter Direct Message – yet another shady foreign agent who Trump Jr. should definitely not have been in contact with but who plunged headfirst into the conversation anyway.
Wikileaks is the transparency organization that the Russians used to funnel John Podesta’s hacked emails to the Trump campaign, which they are suspected of having traded to the Trump campaign in exchange for promises of sanction relief if they won the election.
Donald Trump Jr. received this first message from Julian Assange on October 12th.
“Hi Don if your father ‘loses’ we think it is much more interesting if he DOES NOT conceed [sic] and spends time CHALLENGING the media and other types of rigging that occurred—as he has implied that he might do.”
Fifteen minutes later, Trump tweeted out an excited statement about Wikileaks.

But this story wouldn’t be complete without the whole team being involved – and thankfully, Vice President Mike Pence does not fail to get his own hands dirty.
Two days after Donald Trump Jr. received the message from Julian Assange, Mike Pence was asked by FOX News’ Steve Doocy if the Trump campaign was in “cahoots” with Wikileaks – and once again, Pence shamelessly lied to the American people.
“Nothing could be further from the truth. I think all of us have, you know, have had concerns about WikiLeaks over the years and it’s just a reality of American life today, and of life in the wider world” answered Pence.
Pence is already on the hot seat for lying to the public about his role in hiring disgraced National Security Advisor Michael Flynn while he was accepting money from foreign powers.
Once Pence was informed about the potentially treasonous communications by Gen. Flynn, he felt no need to actually do something about it. Rather than publically condemn him for misleading the White House or for attempting to conspire with representatives of a foreign power as a private citizen, Pence did nothing.
Pence’s involvement is key, because if Robert Mueller’s investigation of the Trump-Russia collusion allegations leads to removing Trump from office, we have to make sure that Pence goes with him, lest the notorious homophobe and religious extremist try to force his heinous agenda on the American people with the full support of a Republican-dominated Congress and no Trump to hold him back.
