Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres just tweeted this morning in response to last night’s heinous Las Vegas massacre.
Care. Love. Be outraged. Be devastated. Just don’t give up. The world needs good humans today.

Her words came at just the right moment, when many Americans were beginning to despair that our country could ever return to some semblance of normalcy, without the constant terror of mass shootings haunting us at every turn.
Not even the massacre of 20 six and seven year olds at Sandy Hook Elementary could restore this nation’s laws to sanity.
In fact, since then, Republicans have blocked a ban on terrorists acquiring guns.
It’s all enough to make us resign ourselves to a perpetual state of Pre-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
But Ellen’s empowering and uplifting words remind us that we must not stop fighting for what’s right. Love must overpower cynicism. And we must transform our outrage into action, so that we can extract this beautiful country from the claws of the NRA and the gun manufacturers./verifiedpolitics.com/
