Early this morning, the President took to Twitter in a rage and threw fuel on the fire of his feud with the sports world, slamming basketball star Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors for refusing to visit the White House following their victory in the NBA championships.
Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 23, 2017
His angry tweet was likely inspired by Curry’s remarks yesterday, in which he announced that he would not be travelling to the White House for the customary celebratory visit awarded to champions in sport.
Quick to jump to Curry’s defense was NBA superstar and basketball legend LeBron James, who won the 2017 slam dunk contest with this amazing takedown of our racist President Trump:
U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!

James is absolutely right. Words cannot describe how deeply President Trump has disgraced the office of the President of the United States. To see him raging on social media about athletes who disrespected him while three million American citizens are without power in Puerto Rico is just insult to heinous injury.
Today was the day LeBron James truly became President.
